About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of BrickMetrics, including its website, account features, pricing tools, marketplace integrations, reports, imports, exports, and related services.

By creating an account, selecting the Terms acceptance checkbox, or continuing to use BrickMetrics, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not create an account or use the service.

If you use BrickMetrics on behalf of a business or another organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

Who we are

BrickMetrics is operated by Steve Parkinson, trading as BrickMetrics. In these Terms, “BrickMetrics”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to that business.

Your account

You must provide accurate and current information when creating and maintaining your account.

You are responsible for keeping your password and account details secure, restricting access to your account, and promptly telling us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You must not share an account in a way that avoids applicable plan or usage limits. We may ask you to verify your identity, email address, store ownership, or authority to act for a business.

What BrickMetrics provides

BrickMetrics provides tools intended to help LEGO resellers understand catalogue, inventory, sales, market, pricing, and order information.

Depending on your plan and configuration, BrickMetrics may:

• import information from BrickLink, Brick Owl, or other supported services;
• calculate inventory, sales, catalogue, and pricing metrics;
• generate suggested prices and identify possible opportunities;
• import, export, or process inventory files;
• support wanted lists, order handling, reservations, and picking;
• display information obtained from third-party platforms; and
• submit inventory or pricing changes when you request or configure those actions.

Available features, limits, and supported integrations may vary by plan.

Marketplace accounts and authorisation

Some features require you to connect a third-party marketplace account. When you provide marketplace credentials or authorise a connection, you instruct BrickMetrics to access that marketplace on your behalf for the features you choose to use.

This access may include reading catalogue, inventory, price-guide, sales, order, or account information. Features that update marketplace data will be used following an action you take or an automation setting you enable.

You confirm that you are authorised to connect the relevant marketplace account and that your use of it complies with the marketplace’s applicable terms and policies.

Metrics, suggested prices, and your decisions

BrickMetrics metrics, valuations, suggested prices, forecasts, and opportunity indicators are decision-support tools. They may be based on incomplete, delayed, cached, user-supplied, or third-party data.

They do not guarantee that an item will sell, a particular sale price or margin, the completeness of marketplace information, or that a marketplace update has been accepted exactly as intended.

You are responsible for reviewing pricing rules, suggested changes, imports, exports, and automation settings before relying on them. You should verify important inventory and pricing changes directly on the relevant marketplace.

Third-party services

BrickMetrics depends on services operated by third parties, including marketplaces, payment providers, data providers, and infrastructure providers.

Those services may impose limits, change their systems, restrict access, experience outages, or discontinue features. These events may temporarily or permanently affect BrickMetrics.

We are not responsible for a third party’s independent service, content, decisions, or availability. This does not affect any responsibility BrickMetrics has for failing to provide its own service with reasonable care and skill.

Plans and prices

BrickMetrics may offer free and paid plans. The features, limits, billing period, and price applying to a paid plan will be shown before you confirm your purchase.

Prices may include or exclude applicable taxes as stated during checkout. A future price change will not be applied retrospectively to a completed billing period. We will provide reasonable advance notice before a material price change applies to an existing renewing subscription.

Paid subscriptions and automatic renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the next renewal date.

By purchasing a paid subscription, you authorise the selected payment method to be charged when the subscription begins, at each automatic renewal, and for any plan change or other charge that you separately approve.

The checkout page will identify the billing frequency and amount before you confirm payment. If payment cannot be collected, we may retry it, restrict paid features, move the account to an available free plan, or suspend access until payment is resolved.

Payment processing and plan changes

Payments are processed by Stripe or another provider identified during checkout. The payment provider processes payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. BrickMetrics does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

BrickMetrics remains responsible for providing the BrickMetrics service you purchase. Questions about the subscription, service, cancellation, or refund should be directed to BrickMetrics.

When you upgrade, the timing and amount of any immediate or prorated charge will be shown or confirmed before completion. Unless stated otherwise, a downgrade takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.

Cancelling a subscription

You may cancel automatic renewal through the available billing-management page or by contacting support@brickmetrics.co.uk.

Cancellation prevents future renewal charges. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, paid access continues until the end of the billing period already paid for.

Payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where the law requires a refund, these Terms expressly provide otherwise, or BrickMetrics agrees to a refund after reviewing the circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory cancellation, refund, repair, repeat-performance, or price-reduction right that applies to you.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• use BrickMetrics for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to another account, system, or data;
• introduce malware or deliberately interfere with the service;
• bypass security, plan, account, or usage restrictions;
• generate excessive or disruptive automated traffic;
• use marketplace credentials without the account owner’s authority; or
• copy, reverse engineer, resell, or commercially exploit BrickMetrics except where the law permits or we agree in writing.

Reasonable use of exports and reports for operating your own resale business is permitted.

Your data and our intellectual property

You retain your rights in information that you provide or import. You give us permission to host, copy, process, and transmit it only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the service, subject to our Privacy Policy.

BrickMetrics and its software, interface, branding, documentation, and original content remain owned by BrickMetrics or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account remains active.

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorise, or endorse BrickMetrics. Other marketplace names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. Our Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used.

Service availability and changes

We aim to provide a stable and useful service, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security, capacity management, third-party outages, or urgent technical work. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of planned disruption likely to have a material effect.

We may add, change, or retire features as the service develops. If a change materially reduces a paid service during an active billing period, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice and an appropriate remedy where required.

Suspension and account closure

We may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to protect the service or its users, investigate suspected fraud or misuse, respond to a legal requirement, address unpaid charges, or prevent a serious or repeated breach of these Terms.

Urgent action may be taken without advance notice. In other cases, we will normally provide an explanation and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.

You may request account closure through the available account controls or by contacting us. Cancelling a paid subscription and deleting an account are separate actions. Closure does not remove obligations that arose beforehand.

Responsibility when things go wrong

We will provide BrickMetrics with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory statutory rights you may have.

BrickMetrics is not responsible for loss caused solely by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you or a third party, an action you approved after being shown the relevant information, your failure to secure your credentials, a third-party platform changing or withdrawing its service, or an event outside our reasonable control.

This does not exclude responsibility where BrickMetrics failed to use reasonable care and skill or otherwise cannot lawfully exclude responsibility.

Links to other websites

BrickMetrics may link to third-party websites for convenience or to support an integration. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their independent content, security, availability, or privacy practices.

Where BrickMetrics may receive an affiliate commission, this will be identified where required.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect service changes, legal requirements, security needs, or business developments. The updated Terms will show a revised effective date.

We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes where practicable. If you do not agree to a material change, you may stop using BrickMetrics and cancel your subscription before it takes effect.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring proceedings in another court or rely on the law of another jurisdiction.

General provisions

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. If we delay enforcing a provision, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.

These Terms, together with plan or checkout terms expressly presented to you and the policies referenced above, form the agreement governing your use of BrickMetrics.
